Glacier Express
Route: Zermatt- Brig - Andermatt - Chur - Davos/St. Moritz

The Glacier Express is an adventurous 7 1/2 hour-ride crossing 291 bridges, 91 tunnels, and the 6708-foot-high Oberalp Pass which connects the two world-class resorts Zermatt and St. Moritz. Ride in the comfort of a modern panorama car and see Switzerland up close and personal: dense forests, peaks capped with eternal snow, rushing mountain streams and centuries-old villages are just some of the sights that travelers will see. The trip is narrated for extra viewing pleasure. Break your trip with a visit to the dining car where professional staff will serve you delicacies in style.

Bernina Express
Route: Chur - St. Moritz - Bernina Pass - Poschiavo - Tirano (-Lugano)

Heidi Express
Route: Landquart - Davos - Bernina Pass - Tirano

Cross the Alps from North to South (or reverse) in style! The Bernina and Heidi Express offer breath-taking vistas from teh 1st and 2nd class panorama cars. Ride over graceful viaducts, through galleries hewn into the sheer rock, through switch-back tunnels, along rushing mountain streams, glaciers, and even an alpine garden. The train climbs up to the 7400-foot pass of the Bernina without the help of a rack-and-pinion mechanisim. The entire trip is narrated. In summer, an optional bus connects Tirano (Italy) to Lugano.

Golden Pass Line
Route: (Zurich-) Lucerne - Brunig Pass - Interlaken - Zweisimmen - Montreux (-Geneva)

Connect Central Switzerland and Lake Geneva with this attractive train ride. Depart from historic Lucerne and cross the Brunig Pass by GoldenPass Panoramic train, past flower-bedecked age-old chalets, and on to Interlaken. From Interlaken, head towrads Gstaad, favorite playground for the rich and famous. Then the train makes an electrifying descent towards Montreux, passing through vineyards to finally arrive at shimmering Lake Geneva.

William Tell Express
Route: Lucerne - Lake Lucerne - Fluelen - St. Gothard - Bellinxona - Lugano or Locarno

The William Tell Express connects the German-speaking Central Switzerland to the Italian-speaking part. The trip starts out on a 1st class histoic paddle steamer plyaing the deep blue waters of Lake Lucerne. On board, enjoy an elegant three-course lunch. In Fluelen, switch to a panorama train which will either bring you to Lugano or to Locarno. The train goes through the St. Gotthard mountain range, where a series of impressive switch-back tunnels will bring you up the mountain. The William Tell Express only operates from North to South. For return trip use scheduled trains which depart on an hourly basis.

Palm Express
Route: St. Moritz - Lugano

Travel by Postal Bus. This spectacular route will let you experience three very distinct regions: the heady "champagne climate" of world-renowned St. Moritz, the hearty warmth of the Val Bregaglia and the shimmering aura of Lake Como (Italy). Two connections in summer, one in winter. Travel time is approximately 4 hours.
